Contrary to popular belief, renters are not out to trash or abuse your motorhome or trailer in any way!

The majority of renters are young families who are wanting to either upgrade from tents, who need more room, or just want to try camping out. There are also a lot of mature couples looking to explore the countryside.
We screen all of our renters very thoroughly. Anyone who rents an RV must be at least 26 years old with a clean driving record as well as a valid G licence for at least 8 years.

Why rent out your motorhome or trailer?

Get your motorhome or trailer used.

There is nothing worse for a motorhome then sitting around for months at a time without being used.

Reduce your expenses.

Income generated can be enough to cover maintenance, upkeep or your monthly payments.

Tax Write-off’s.

Your motorhome or trailer now becomes a business and everything from parts, repairs and your monthly payments become an expense and a tax write-off. You can also register as a business and receive HST rebates on all expenses paid.

Why consign with Rolling Vacations when I can just rent it out myself?

This is a question that is asked a lot and there is no reason why you cannot rent it out yourself. However, after 10 years in the business, we have developed the know-how, the resources and the customer base to obtain the most out of your rental.

We are a family business.

We are not a large rental outlet. We take pride in our business. Our rental customers and RV consignors are not just numbers to us. We take the time to thoroughly inspect all rv’s prior to departure as well as upon return.

Advertising and marketing.

We pay for and look after all of the advertising and marketing of your RV Rental. We promote your RV in fliers, online ads, on Facebook and on our website. We have one of the best RV rental websites in Ontario.

Repeat business. 

We have gone the extra mile over the years to provide the best rental experience for all of our renters. Because of this, we have all kinds of repeat customers and referrals. We cannot keep up to the demand and request of our expanding customer base.

Hassle-free payment handling.

We pay all of banking fees and we can accept debit and credit right at our location. This is not only is a great convenience for our customers, but it also gives us the ability to book rentals over the phone as well as obtaining and processing additional damage securities via signed pre-authorized credit slips.

Avoid tedious paperwork.

Nobody likes paperwork. That’s why we look after all of the contracts, agreements, reservation forms and fee collections.

Training and service.

We train potential renters on all aspects of operating your motorhome or trailer. We also field all calls or emails on any potential problems they may encounter while on their travels. Our renters are provided with emergency contact info where they can get a hold of me to resolve any issues.

Worry-free rentals.

You won’t be receiving any late phone calls and won’t have to worry about taking time off or having to alter your own weekend plans. Just sit back, relax and let us do the all of the work for you.

Storage.

We offer free parking and storage in season. While actively in our consignment program, your motorhome or trailer will be at our location so that it can be viewed, picked up or returned by any potential customers. Why pay for storage when the storage location can pay you?

Reporting.

Monthly detailed statements and payments sent directly to you.

Repairs and maintenance.

We look after basic repairs and maintenance for you. We are knowledgeable in preforming basic maintenance and repairs at hugely discounted prices compared to RV repair shops. For any repairs that we cannot perform, we have a vast list of suppliers and technicians that can get the part or repair done at discounted prices.

You use your motorhome or trailer whenever you like. Just let us know the dates you need it and we will block them out for you.
